       This is a beautiful, highly detailed, Skill Level 2, 1/12th scale Robby the Robot, classic sci-fi movie, Forbidden Planet where Robby is the faithful mechanical servant on board the exploratory starship, the C-57D (to be Released soon from Polar Lights), sent on a mission to the distant planet Altair 4. Molded in dark grey, clear, and chrome with over 50 pieces this plastic model kit features a very detailed clear head dome that reveal Robbie's internal workings, distinctive Robby arms and ball style legs, optional parts to build different versions of Robby, a detailed Altair-4 landscape base, completed it stands 8" tall, and with the detailed pictorial instructions this kit will be a joy to assemble and display.
