     This is a beautiful 1/80th scale static display intermediate model kit of a beautiful 1800"s era River Boat, King of the Mississippi an accurate recreation of a Paddle Wheel Steam Boat used in the times of Mark Twain, when America used the Mighty Mississippi for transportation of goods. These vessels served as highways for cotton and passenger alike. As showboats, they made the long journeys through the vastness of America a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Now you can recreate an exact replica with this fantastic kit that will be almost 30" long a 5" beam, and a height of 11-1/2" when complete and features plank on bulkhead construction, it also has molded wooden pieces for the bow and stern sections for more accurate construction, pre-cut ribs included for the hull, and superstructure construction, beautiful brass fittings include steering wheel, handrails, ship's bell, windows, doors, and chain. cast metal parts such as the paddlewheels, chimney heads, galvanized wire for structural supports, cotton thread for rigging, and comes with a very detailed pictorial instruction booklet that will allow you to sucessfully construct this very beautiful historical boat. This is also one of Artesania's PLUS kits that includes tools such as a plank bender, needle nose tweezers, sanding block with sandpaper, files, hobby knife, parts holder with magnifier, drill, hammer, two paint brushes and more that will make building this kit a real joy.
