Artesania Latina 22417 This is a beautiful 1/56th
scale intermediate static display model kit HMS Supply from Artesania
Latina. On the 13th May 1787 the first of two fleets departed from Plymouth,
England on a journey to the far side of the world. Under the leadership of
Captain Arthur Phillip, the convoy of 11 ships contained 1500 marines,
officers, seaman and their families, plus 732 convicts. They were bound for
the great South Land to establish the penal colony of New South Wales,
(Australia). The fleet took eight months and one week to arrive in Botany
Bay and just seven days later, on the 26th January 1788, sailed into Port
Jackson, now known as Sydney Harbor. Captain Phillip proclaimed the first
Australia day and became first Governor of the new nation. HMS Supply, of
168 tons, was a swift sailor and acted as a scout and message carrier during
the voyage, being the first ship to enter Botany Bay. Along with the Sirius,
the Supply rates as one of the most famous historical ships of the new
Australian nation. now you can build a replica of this beautiful ship that
will be over 27" long with a beam of 11" and a height of 21" when complete
and features plank on frame construction, mahogany, Ramin, applewood, and
boxwood planking, laser cut plywood frame components, cast metal anchor,
anchor chain, windlass, gratings, decorative trim, a full set of hand-sewn
cotton sails, different colored cotton thread in various sizes for all of
the rigging, beautiful detailed railings, Brass nails, strips, eyebolts,
cannons, nameplate, and other brass parts, cloth flags, a very detailed
transom, with a very detailed instruction booklet in 4 languages that will
