   This is a beautiful, highly detailed, Skill Level 2, 1/25th scale, 1949 Ford Club Coupe Street Rod re-released by AMT packaged in the mid 70’s Street Rods series box art. Legend has it that the '49 Ford was designed on the kitchen table of a former Studebaker designer and was based on the Studebaker Champion, Ford's top management was so overwhelmed that they bought the design over their own in-house effort, and the rest is history. This fantastic kit molded in white, clear, and chrome with over 170 pieces and features, very detailed chassis, complete with suspension, exhaust lines, muffler, rear differential and axles, an optional position hood, a stock V-8 Flathead or custom V-8 with several carburetor options, a fantastic interior that features original or custom seats, steering wheel, detailed dash, door panels, rear bench seat, rear view mirror, exterior features that include chrome bumpers and grill as well as many other trim pieces original or custom wheels treaded black vinyl tires, headlight and tail light lenses, and with the waterslide decals and detailed pictorial instructions, collectible miniature fold-together display box, all that will make this kit a joy to assemble and display.
