This is a beautiful, highly detailed, Limited Edition, 1/48th
scale B-25B Mitchell Bomber, flown by Col. James
Doolittle on one of the most famous raids in the Pacific Theater of WWII. On
April 18, 1942, Doolittle and 15 other bombers left the deck of the USS
Hornet and for the first time, bombed Tokyo. Molded in
Grey and Clear with over 200 pieces this plastic model kit features very
detailed recessed panel lines, two
extremely detailed wing mounted engines, very detailed landing gear very
detailed cockpit with seats, instrument panels, side and center consoles,
bulkheads, bombardier's compartment with .30 machine
gun, very detailed bulkheads, fuselage details include radio compartment
complete with radio and camera equipment, toilet, entry hatch, a bombay area
with bulkheads, bomb racks, bombs, rotating upper gun turret with elevating
twin machine gun, clear tail cone with machine gun, long range fuel tank
